Ross Talner :
Ross Talner has been coming to Latin America for the past 20 years.
He recently discovered Nicaragua three years ago while surfing around Central America.
He fell in love with the people, the unspoiled natural beauty and,
of course, the waves. Originally from San Diego, California
he has a Masters degree in International Relations from UCSD. His
career after UCSD was as a high school Spanish teacher. His graduate work
inspired him to live abroad and motivated him to move to Nicaragua.
When not working, Ross enjoys surfing, free diving and fishing. On your way
into Guasacate feel free to stop by and Ross would love to show you around!

Barry Oliver:
Barry joined Century 21 Gold Coast Realty as General Manager in
2004. He spent one season as a professional Triathlete in Argentina.
He has 7 years experience as a Senior Account Executive for Deloitte & Touche,
SAP Software and Siebel Systems. While surfing he fell in love with
Central America in 2000 and the next year he moved to Nicaragua and
founded his export business. Barry received his B.A. in Mechanical
Engineering from Cal Poly State University, SLO where he also graduated
Cum Laude with a Masters in Industrial Technology.
Barry supports the local baseball leagues and donates to local education through the A. Jean Brugger Foundation. He enjoys time with his Costa Rican wife Sigrid and daughter Angela.

Rosa: Weekday Secretary
Rosa is our beautiful weekday secretary that everyone falls in love with. She speaks English and makes all guest feel welcome.
She keeps track of the office expenses and makes sure there is always coffee brewing. Rosa come from a town 2 hours from here
called Diriomo She is perhaps the nicest person I have ever met and is married to my Canadian friend Ewee.

Marquesa: Weekend Secretary
Marquesa is our beautiful weekend secretary and is getting her college degree during the week. She comes from Rivas on the weekends
to work in the office but is originally from La Salinas. She is super dependable and has been working here for over a year. She
keeps the office organized and is single for now.

Juan Lopen AKA Juan Largo: Security
Juan is my right hand man. He is super friendly and loves talking to the guests when they come to visit. He seems to know everyone in
the area is and is always keeping a watchful eye on the property. He has coffee ready every morning when we come to work . He is a
great guy to have in the office, but I wish he would stop with the complex math questions until after I have two cups of coffee.

Doņa Delma: Cook/Cleaning
Delma is the matriarch of the office. She is my cleaning lady but is passionate about cooking. She has worked as a cook since she was
12 years old and worked in the US for 10 years as a cook for Tacho Samosa. She is amazing in the kitchen and makes sure I eat well
and dont go without a meal. She serves me something from the garden every day. In addition Delma washes and Irons my clothing and
even insists on ironing and folding my underwear. Delma also has been here since C21 came to Popoyo.

Aga Pito: Gardener Extraordinaire
Agapito enjoys baseball , gardening and long walks on the beach. He is a madman with a machete and can clear brush as fast as a man can
walk. When it come to gardening and he has the two acres of the C21 property looking great. On the property he is growing mangos,
papayas, grapefruit, oranges, green peppers, tomatoes, beans, eggplant, cucumber, watermelon, squash in addition to parsley, basil,
oregano, cilantro and many varieties of trees. He always is smiling and is a super dependable and tireless worker and has been with us
since we came to Popoyo.
